What is Somatic CBT?

Somatic CBT Coaching is a structured, results-oriented coaching program designed to help you clarify your personal goals, navigate life transitions, and achieve meaningful progress in your life.

This approach combines cognitive-behavioral methods (CBT) with body-based, somatic practices informed by nervous-system science.

You’ll work with thoughts, beliefs, and actions using awarness of the body’s physical responses — because how we feel in our bodies directly influences motivation, confidence, emotion regulation, and performance.

This integrated approach supports change on multiple levels:

1. Better Emotional Regulation
Somatic practices help increase nervous system flexibility — making it easier to act rather than react in challenging moments. Somatic techniques help people engage with physical sensations related to stress and processing them safely. This means greater sense of choice and freedom in everyday life!

2. Faster Progress Toward Goals

CBT provides evidence-based tools for setting clear goals, breaking them down into achievable steps, and modifying unhelpful thought patterns. Less looping behavior and more new skills and experieces.

3. Relief from Internalized Protection
Many life transitions get stuck not just in thoughts but in the body’s habitual protective responses (e.g., tension, avoidance, hyper-alertness). Somatic work helps release tension, pain, and emotions trapped inside.

What Does a Session Look Like?

Duration: 60 minutes


Format: One-on-one coaching via Zoom


Focus: Goal achievement, life transitions, greater emotional regulation, deeper felt sense, embodied resilience, and actionable planning


Approach: Trauma-informed, nervous-system aware, client-centered talk, guided visual meditation, movement or breath.

Sessions are personalized to your goals, and the integrated method means you build skills that transfer outside the session — increased self-soothing, clearer decision-making, greater emotional intelligence and more embodied confidence in your choices.

Session Options:

  • One session: $45

  • 4-session package: $140 total ($35 per session)

Choosing a package reduces the per-session cost and supports consistent work.
